BATAVIA, Ohio — UC Health and HealthSource of Ohio are teaming up to build a major new medical facility in Clermont County, bringing more primary, specialty and support care to southwest Ohio.
The 80,000-square-foot medical office building in Batavia is expected to be completed in 2028, according to a press release from UC Health. The facility will house primary care, behavioral health, urgent care, vision and pharmacy services — including a drive-thru — alongside specialty care and diagnostic services provided by UC Health.
HealthSource of Ohio, which operates health centers across the southern part of the state, will develop the new facility. The co-location is expected to enhance care coordination, reduce wait times and improve the patient experience, the release said.
“This project represents the shared commitment of UC Health and HealthSource of Ohio to improve life for the communities we serve,” said Cory Shaw, president and CEO of UC Health. “Together, we’re shaping the future of healthcare in Clermont County and beyond by removing barriers so that all can thrive.”
Site development has already started, and a groundbreaking ceremony is planned later this month, according to the announcement.
The project marks a significant healthcare investment in one of the fastest-growing corridors of the Cincinnati region, where many Clermont County residents have long traveled to Cincinnati’s medical campuses for specialty and diagnostic care.
